Hi is anyone aware of a Software/Firmware Update for the 2016 Rav4 in car Entertainment headset. Toyota have launched a Smart Device Link app but this does not work on the Headset with current Software/Firmware. 

Even software/Firmware update to enable Apple Carplay will be helpful its such a pity that this vehicle does have these functions and it is a costly exercise to replace the headset with an Android headset.

As far as I am aware Smart device link is only available in the USA and only on certain models not all.

Apple car play / Android auto is only available on some 2019 on models  and is not backwards compatible.
