I have the Corolla AE82 FX GT, the ignition is cutting off, and I don't have the diagnostic plug.... I checked that I have an MR2 ECU installed ( the corolla ECU shoud have 2 plugs, the MR2-3plugs if the book I'm reading is right...

I desperatly need some service manuals and schemes on electrical and electronical instalation in both cars. ( Corolla nad MR2 ) does anyone have something like that ??? I cannot find it.... even Toyota dealer doesnt have it here :fear:

I have to find out how to diagnose a car without the diagnostic plug

I need some schemes of the ECU.

Alrite mate, i take it you are not from the UK as you say:

I cannot find it.... even Toyota dealer doesnt have it here

Wheres here??

I work for Toyota and have access to such manuals! Here are the part numbers for the manuals if this helps!

4AF & 4AGE Engine repair manual:RM063E

4AFE & 4AGE Engine repair manual: RM163E

Corolla AE80-82 Chassis & body repair manual: 36216E

Hope this is some use to you! (iam unable to find the wiring diagram manual at present!)

But it sounds to me that your problem is with your ignitor pack(on side of coil!) due to this is a very common fault with these models! (i had to replace mine!)
