Nearly Bought A Supra Yesterday !?!

I was in Edinburgh yesterday and thought I would pop along to the jap garage.

They had 2 nice TT Manual supras for sale. I VERY, VERY nearly bought one.

The reason I didn't is because I laughed when they garage offered me £4K for my tubby. I might not get more than that from anywhere I suppose... but the amount of money I've spent on it, I'm not letting it go for £4K !

Mmmmm.... was so tempted tho !!

I liked the look of the black one.. nice and mean... Grrr.... I'm gonna have to stay away from the garage or I'll end up having one very soon... lol... DOH !

Jim

the best thing for you to do (and your gonna hate this)

Is to return your car to standard, trade it in for the £4k against the supra, and sell the mods second hand

no garage will give you anymore just because youve spent £10k on modding your car... and no offence, but i dont think you'd get much more than book even if you sold it private. Mods just dont add any value

yes I was actually thinking that would be the best thing to do. Strip the car back to standard and then trade it in and sell the mods.

I honestly can't see me having my mr2 for another 12 months tbh.

hehehe, seems like you are going exactly the same route as me :P

im gonna strip mine and go for a veilside kitted supra.... but im gonna go for a na rather than tt as they are more reliable and cheaper to fix.

i have been lucky enough to go for rides in loads of supes as there are a lot of them down south :D

I wouldnt say that, all depends on how much they have been taken care of.

But yeah i guess lack of turbos is one less thing to worry about.

Supras? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!

I wish! :drool::drool:

Could never manage one The cost of Tax & Insurance, here, Ireland, is unreal :ffs:

Still, there is the Lottery, twice a week

Thinks, If I didn't do it(Lottery) I could afford one ;)

If your Mr. 2 isn't going to make a big impact towards the Supra purchase, you could try keeping it and getting the supra anyway! :P

Please tell me the Supras aren't slushboxes <_<

returning to standard defo sounds the best idea jim. did u keep original bumpers etc?

i assume you would be able to stick the unichip on the supra and get it re-mapped? which would further increase the supra power muhahahah!
