Clock Setting

I managed to change the time on my MY21 Yaris Cross.  I found the reset procedure in the online manual (car not multi media).  Having set the hours and minutes on the small screen the Satnav display only updated after a restart.

Now the question, is clock setting purely manual or is there an automatic Satnav or OTA update available?

No idea, but it's always (at least since satnav became a thing) puzzled me that you have to tell the nav unit (or associated head unit) what time and date it is ... despite it being connected to the (second?) most accurate clock systems in the solar system.
