Stereo update question

Hi, I've bought a 2014 yaris with the touch stereo without satnav, it has the button which I believe is standard but no actual satnav, says system not installed, I'm trying to update any firmware for it but cannot seem to find anything on websites, it's all for the touch 2 system. Can it actually be updated?

And also can it be changed to either a aftermarket stereo or can I put the touch2 one in the car?

Or what are my best options, I miss not having android auto etc in my car.

If you want Android Auto, you would need a third party system to replace the Touch 2 system.

The touch is outdated iirc the very last map update is 2021 - The sat nav is a physical add-on module not an update, the touch 2 does not support AA or AC

All said and done a decent AA/AC radio will set you back around £450 with all the adapters

something along the lines of a Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB or SPH-DA230DAB

Avoid the no name Chinese junk, they are cheap for a reason
