The information is burried on the forum, sorry I can't recall but Euro 5 petrol springs to mind, I am allowed in the ULEZ and that's all that mattered.

Euro 4 became effective from January 2006, and Euro 5 from January 2011.

Euro 4 emissions standards (petrol)

CO: 1.0g/km

THC: 0.10g/km

NOx: 0.08g/km

Euro 5 benefits standards (petrol)/km

CO: 1.0g

THC: 0.10g/km

NMHC: 0.068g/km

NOx: 0.06g/km

PM: 0.005g/km (direct injection only)

Depends what you want the information for.

If it is vehicle tax (road tax), the information is needed by DVLA - but bear in mind that the vehicle may be put on the flat rate of vehicle tax if the information you provide to them is not from a verified source.

If it is for a ULEZ, it is the transport authority (e.g. TfL) that the information is needed for. You can try inputting the registration details into the ULEZ checked website to see whether it will be accepted as equivalent to, say, Euro 4.
