Navigation system not showing motorway junctions

Since my 2013 Prius had a flat Battery, the navigation system is not showing motorway junctions when following a route. Is there some setting that I need to change to bring back that feature? My manual says © 2012 and is publication No. OM47720E, part No. 01999-47720. I can find nothing in it to suggest that display of motorway junctions can be switched off!
