"Phew, just made it!"

"Wait a minute.... something doesn't feel right..."

"Can anyone smell metal burning?"

"Hey Dave look what I found!"

I thought I had a better photo of sparks coming off the spokes as they were filed down by the road but can't find it

Happened to me once on the dual carriageway coming into Rugby doing 50

Terrible weird ripping sound from front driver's side, smoke pouring out then a huge bang and lurch.

I thought something really drastic had happened but it turned out that the coil spring had snapped and the end of it tore a hole through the tire sidewall.

I had something similar around 13 years ago had some new discs and pads fitted garage didn’t tighten wheel nuts up and I lost the front tyre on motorway at 70 , owner said well I definitely nipped them up , I said it’s funny wheels just over took about 4 artics in lane one and is out off sight due to the now traffic jam it’s caused .
had to call aa as disc was now a semi circle, so needed a new disc and a new alloy wheel and tyre . For those that now was a limited addition 182 Clio so the garage took forever getting a new wheel at there expense from the dealer .

I see nobody noticed the exhaust tied up with plastic coated dog leader you can just see it if you enlarge the picture but you have to take my word that its a dog lead as I have no picture from the other side.

Another good point its not a Toyota driver!.
