Whistling Nosie from car?

Hello,

Looking from a bit of advice,

Couple of days ago i had to remove my car Battery to trinkle charge it i accidentally uncapped the coolant cap now i have a whistle (sounds like a old kettle) coming from the engine bay would not replace the coolant cap correctly make the whistling noise?

Hi, 

yes it’s likely to be that. The cooling system builds up pressures as engine heats up and if the cap it’s not properly closed will do exactly that.
On cold engine, remove the cap and with your finger or anything else take some coolant from the reservoir and wipe around the cap thread and the neck opening where the cap seals. When you lube with coolant these parts the cap will turn easily and seal properly, perhaps it will need to click in place when installed correctly. 👍
