Hello, I have a 2000 super custom with the 3L 1kzte. I replaced the turbo on it with a ct12b which suits the 1kz engines for the Prado and hiluxes of the generation. The turbo is not creating any boost which is causing the engine to have no power. It idles and runs fine but has Na power, no turbo noises at all but can feel it sucking air when my hand is placed near it.

 

Any ideas on why this is ?

Is it building boost ? i guess not, how is the actuator controlled, i take it is a no name Chinese turbo
