Auris cruise control not working

Hello guys I have a 2010 Auris KuroS E15UT(A)  with a 1ND-TV Engine. I have install an aftermarket cruise control there is even a socket ready to plug it in when I open the airbag but doesn't seem to work do I need to do anything with the cars computer like unlock the cruise control or it should have work right away?
