5w 30 Oil

My local garage has changed the oil in my turbo, but they have used 5W 30 oil. Reading around, everyone is using 10W 40, will this damage my car and should I get it out of it asap?

Does it sound any different when idleing?

Dosen't sound any diffrent, although I only had it a few days before I got the oil changed.

that oil *might* be a bit too thin and could cause previously blocked up leaks to leak again. Have a look round your engine for the next week or so to see if you can spot any leaks and check the oil level now n then. I wouldnt be too worried at all if you car is in good condition though

I used to use that oil and for some reason i had to keep an eye on the level more often and top up a lot.

I now use proper quality thicker oil and i havent had to top up once - no leaks or burning. Runs sweet as a nut.
