Hi

I have just bought a 2013 1 ltr Yaris.I took it out for spin tonight went down a hill with the engine holding the car back accelerated  away at the bottom and there was lots of blue smoke. Anyone know what the problem could be. Its just been serviced. Cheers.

Sounds like it sucked in oil into the cylinders when you were engine braking. Could be worn valve guides or, more likely, blocked EGR or PCV piping.

It's not fatal. The car should run 'OK' still. 

How many miles has it done?
