Auris EGR problem

Hello how are you guys?

I have auris 1.4d from 2010 and i experienced exhaust fume kind coming beneath the engine plastic cover.

A shop owner told me that its the EGR cooler that is needed to be changed and its not the EGR-ventil, he says.

I can not see where the fume is coming from and not sure which part i should order. Shop owner cant find a replacement part , only the genuine part which is expensive, he says.

What should i do? Can i find the part online?

EGR coolar is the one before passing the EGR valve. It looks like a big chunk of metal with water hoses inlets. In hybrid it is about 10x30x6 cm

What color is the smoke? In the photos you can see that the flanges back to the EGR have leaks. maybe that's it too

One of my friend had a usb microscope and we checked the egr and found out that the lower pipe had a hole. So i ordered new one and actually replaced today. So its fixed
