Auris hybrid aircon

Hi everyone, 

Long story short the gas rans out one month after regas. Been to 3 garages in NW London and been assured that there are no leaks. 
 

I'll greatly appreciate any recommendations of a specialist in London or if there's something specific that can be done to solve this issue.
 

I'd like to mention that I have used the aircon daily however, one month after regas the compressor stops working and only warm air is blown in the cabin.

Hi, 

what you have described sounds like you have a gas leak somewhere along the system, could be a slow leak and the machine test pass and regas but then if it goes bad so quickly definitely there is one. These cars has known condenser issues bottom right corner. 
Check the radiator ( condenser) front bumper lower grill and see if there are any wet marks on it.  The rest will be an AC specialist, but I don’t know any to recommend. Perhaps Google it by location.

If there is no leak, why didn't they diagnose why it isn't working?

This will be a very small leak and as such not always easy to locate, at least from a casual inspection.

If the weight of refrigerant for a full charge is around the 400 gram mark and lets say it keeps working down to 200 grams then that means a loss of just 6.5 grams per day or put another way, considerably less than 0.3 grams per hour.

Those are very tiny values that require sensitive leak detection equipment.

Do you mean right hand side from front? I have a wet area bottom left looking from front, where the hose/pipe meets the condenser. A regas from Summer last year has just failed. Toyota wanted at least £750 to replace the condenser - local garage quoted £600 (not toyota part). Have done 118,000 so tempted just to regas again!

Yes , exactly that. We have already a thorough discussion about this issue, spare parts replacement by another member. 
Perhaps if you look in Google Auris hybrid condenser replacement it may pop up and read all the information, pictures etc.

Get a proper confident diagnostic first. Otherwise you dump your money for nothing. 

Hooks the high and low pressure lines with gauges first. Check if it is indeed leaks or something else such as failed relays.  If the pressures are low, mechanics can inject R134A with compatible dye (for hybrid compressor) and can trace it a month later. Do not use common dye with PAG oil that will ruin the expensive compressor.
