Apple car play

Hi 

I have a Yaris 2016 design with a touch 2 go information unit

Will this have Apple car play

I have followed instructions to use it after connecting iPhone via usb port nothing happens unsure if it's possible on the touch 2 go

Any advice would be greatfully received

Carplay was introduced on the 2020 revision of the head unit on some toyota models then widely introduced on 2022 and beyond. For those without carplay there was the “mobile assistant” integration via bluetooth. Where you could hold the phone button and instruct siri on a bluetooth connected phone.

I installed this carplay adapter.Perfectly works on my car, no problem with original features and rear camera. Adapter has possibility of wired and wireless android auto connection. Very reasonable price for such feature.
