Hi Can anyone advise where I could get the following parts for my  Yaris?

a) Special tool needed for removing front seats, tried everything with no luck!

b) Heat shield for Fuel Tank.

I am located in West of Scotland.

Thanks in advance.

No special tools required for the front seats, it is a fairly standard Torx hexalobular-type (aka AW) you should be able to get it with a torx bit and tap it in with a hammer, the bolts are part number 90148-10002

Heat shield, it depends on what one you need

I binned my heat shield a while ago. Makes no difference except the annoying rattle it made has now stopped. As above for the bolts, local hardware shop will sell them cheap.

A large washer (mudguard washers) plus rubber washers may just save the day if its just the fitting holes are now to large.

Thanks for responses, however it is not that simple. The bolts holding the seats in place are NOT standard, I have scrapped many of these cars in the past which do have standard bolts, this one does not. I have already purchased umpteen different tools from both Toyota and Auto Spares shop, nothing has worked, so I am completely stumped!

As I say I am also looking for Heat Shield for the Fuel Tank.

Car is 2002 Yaris, 1.0 ltr.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Post some photos of the bolt heads? That could be helpful if they aren't just standard Torx type.

French built cars use 90148-10002 Hexalobular Torx aka Wurth AW, if in doubt use an ez-out, type extractor

Jap cars use 90119-10349 sub'd by 91651-G1020 (standard hex)

now if it looks like a locking wheel nut key it may have the Mcgard locking bolts on it

Buy the heatshield new, used ones are all gone.
Being a 02 the car could be french built which uses torx bolts for the seats, you need a good quality steel bit and a impact screwdriver to take them out. Using anything else and they will strip.
