In tank fuel pump. 2004 Yaris Verso 1.3vvti 62kw.

Dear All,

After a 1k mile journey the fuel pump on my beloved Yaris Verso decided to pack in at my front door.

Toyota want £410 for the pump and I've had a nightmare trying to get one from another source.

I purchased a used one from a 2005 car but it's totally different after being told they are all the same.

I purchased a new one from Autodoc, Germany but the electrical spade connectors are twice the size of the original broken one. My auto electrician will not crimp on the blue connectors to make the replacement work due to risk of explosion and the connectors melting in petrol.

Please see attached pics, the brown top pump is the original broken one and the black top one is the Autodoc replacement.

The Autodoc one was returned today and they claim to be sending the correct one out.

As I'm not full of hope does anyone have a new or used correct pump please.

Any help or ideas would be most appreciated as I'm at my wit's end.
