Estima Hybrid battery problem

Hi all. Got a Hybrid Battery problem with my Estima. I've had it checked and cell 8 is not working. I'm having all sorts of problems getting someone to sort the problem out for me, mostly companies not returning my calls / web enquiries. The car won't start, so I need a mobile company that covers Hertfordshire area, I don't want the expense of getting it transported to a garage, as I feel sure the problem can be rectified on my drive. I want the damaged cell replaced and the other 10 cells reconditioned ideally, it's a 20 year old car, so if it's possible, I don't want to go down the compleat Hybrid Battery replacement option unless it's absolutely necessary. Any mobile Hybrid mechanics out there able to offer any help? Thanks guys!

Toyota Estima Auto Import, 2004 2360cc BC04 FOA vin no AHR10-2009874

I've had a company do a diagnostic check on the car, and the report said Battery block 8 was weak, and the following:

P3000 – Battery Control System
C1310 – HV System Malfunction
P3018 – Battery Block 8 Weak
P3006 – Battery Levels Unusually Different

Their advice was to repair / replace battery block 8

I know absolutely nowt about the hybrid models...but there has been much talk/discussion over the past couple of years about the Estima hybrids and the Battery issues.

Might be worth surfing through the apprpriate forums.?

Thanks Neil, being a right problem this! I'll take a look at previous posts, see if any help there, just cannot find anyone willing to take on the work who offers a mobile service, as the car is a non runner.......

Good luck with that....I think you may well have to swallow the cost of getting the vehicle to wherever it needs to be.
