Hazard button question

May seem a stupid question, but should my hazard button flash when they are on, or at least light up?

It should, but there are no user serviceable parts inside it, if it's faulty you will need to replace it

The next question is do you need the light?  Can you hear the hazards?  Do both left/right indicators flash?

Yeah, everything works fine.

It illuminates when you turn the lights on, but it doesn't flash as I would expect.

Maybe i am trapped in a timeworn, but I am I have not had a car that the actual button doesn't flash when it is on

Come to think of it, the light in my hazard warning switch does not illuminate. 😞

The switch itself illuminates but when you press the button on for hazards to flash the switch itself doesn,t flash.I use them frequently and noticed this.

Its a 2020 X Trend.

Cheers Paul, then mine is actually working as it should and I won't bother replacing it.
