Primary driver removal and wireless CarAndroid connection

Hello there

My hb bought me a second hand 2023 C-HR 2.0 Hybrid Team Deutschland a month ago from a dealer in Germany.  We live in Poland.  Is there any way I can remove the primary driver from my car, obviously I don't have his password but his name is there.

I would also like to know if I always have to have my phone (Samsung S22+) connected via USB for the CarAndroid to show on my screen, is it not wireless compatible?

Many thanks in advance

Debora

Probably need to go into a Toyota dealer to remove the old account. Carplay/Auto requires a usb data cable, unless you buy a third party dongle or similar .

Apple car play is wireless in a 2023 model, but you need to connect with a a cable the first time you use it

Download and check the online Navigation / Multimedia System Manual. I'm pretty sure that you will find a "System reset" function that will "Reset all of the system’s data and restore the settings to the factory defaults."

Alternatively, you may be able to delete a user profile - again check the manual.

This wasn’t the case with my iPhone

As for resetting the primary user, there is an option in settings to restore everything to factory settings.
