Auris hybride 2014 - do i need canbus module android radio?

I have bought an android head unit because i want to upgrade my old Touch & Go 1 radio(Yes it was the model 1 version) witch is very slow and outdated.

This is the unit i have bought (4GB/64GB) but im not sure if u need a canbus adapter for it to let all the controls work. 
Offcouse i have messaged the seller but i dont think he has the right knowledge to give me an correct answer. 

Do u guys have upgraded to an android radio and did u install a canbus module? Or did u just pluged in the connections and did it work straight away?
