MY23 Double Beep

Have managed to work out most of the bongs and beeps with the exception of a quiet double beep. It happens at exactly the same part of certain roads on my way to work. No speed cameras etc. I think it may be something to do with the lane alert system? Is there a way to turn down how sensitive it is? It went off loads on a journey yesterday and my driving isn’t that bad! LOVE our Corolla otherwise. It seems it’s finally getting the recognition it deserves with WC Car of The Year even though it’s been around for a few years.

HiTim, many Corollas allow adjustments through the instrument menu. You might find a button on the steering wheel usually with an "i" or information symbol to access this menu. Then navigate to the Settings or Driver Assist bit and look for options related to LDA.

Some models might have dedicated buttons on the steering wheel for driver assistance features. Look for buttons with lane marking symbols. Pressing and holding these buttons might cycle through settings or open a menu for adjusting sensitivity.Hope this helps 😄

I also get a quiet double beeb on my 23 Corolla and took me a while to work out it’s always around 100m or so before a speed camera.  It may also been at points where temporary speed camera’s are known to be located.

I used to get something similar, I went into navigation settings on the infotainment screen and turned off camera audible alerts as I don't use the built in navigation.

I'm sure my system beeps for cameras even  when I'm not using it. Only permanent cameras though. I suppose if the camera was removed it might be some time before the system updated for that site.

Same for me, I get the double beeps whether using the Sat nav or not.  Quite happy having it as a reminder as easy to forget about speed cameras.

Thanks for the replies. It was the speed camera warning - even on local roads that I know have never had one or a mobile point.
