Hi I have a Yaris 03 and recently my reverse light stopped working upon inspection and after changing the bulb I realised the lens is full of water if there any way to stop this.

It’s a good idea to check the boot spare tyre well for any water ingress.
Of there are any signs of moisture best practices is to remove both light clusters , clean the bodywork that they seat, clean the clusters all to be free from dirt and debris, replace the rubber seals with new and install the lights back again. Do not over thought the nuts, I believe max 10Nm.

Thanks for the advice I will look into finishing someone to help me do this. The spare tyre area is pretty clean no water there.

What a really crap design that water would get in like this unless something's worn away the car is old
