Reverse camera out of focus.

Hi all,

Is it possible to adjust focus on the reversing camera?

The picture is clearly out of focus. 
I have checked the lens and lens cover for moisture or any dirt but both are clear.

Just a quick question - has the focus changed, has it ever been in focus?

I'm not aware that they are adjustable, but I've never had one that was not in focus. They are wide angle and small aperture so shouldn't be very sensitive and have a pretty deep field of focus.

they are sealed units but do suffer from water ingress, iirc the eary 2nd facelift ones did have an issue, they are simple to remove pop the inner tailgate trim off, remove the plug and undo the nut holding it

take it indoors and let it dry out or gently heat it with a hair dryer, if you are in a hotter climate leave it out in the sun

When you say you checked it for dirt, do you mean visually or did you actually wipe it off with your thumb/a cloth/something?

Both wiped clean moist cloth and visually checked.

Update on this:

Tried to have the camera inside in the house on a warm location for a few days.

No change, probably have to purchase another one.
