Yaris Cross Day Running Light issue

After the first service of my Yaris Cross, I noticed the day running lights switched from the vertical lights on the sides of front bumper to the head lights, i.e. the head lights are on all the time now. Is that normal? Is there anyway that I can switch the DRLs back to the vertical lights on the front bumper?

Check the position of your light switch.  It should be on auto.

It is on auto at all time. The vertical light strips on the bumper are not on now no matter what light settings I use.

Check the light sensor.  Maybe something is covering it so the car thinks that outside is dark and switches to head light.

Ricky, you are brilliant, the light sensor was blocked, now everything is back to normal. Thank you so much!

I would also like to thank all the others who provide me with all the good tips.
