If anyone interested Lidl have an oil pump on sale for £9.99 from Thursday 30 May

Hi Dezzer, At that price is it for sunflower or vegetable oil.

Got this at home since 2020 or earlier and never used, probably have given it to my dad. It’s a good thing to have but drain your engine oil from the drain plug 👌

I have got the Lidl oil pump which I bought a few years ago. It works well in most cars but not in my Estima where it fails to get to the oil. Worked fine in my Sorrento, various Citroens and Peugeots etc.

That only works if your sump has one. My car does not so sucking it is the only way to get the oil out unless you want to turn the car upside down.

I have never known of a car engine without a sump plug.
