NO

NO

and

NO

they are cheap for a reason...

and you've got a 300bhp rear wheel drive car, and were heading for winter...

use your head mate!

Uniroyal used to be standard fitment to a lot of Fords.

They are a pretty good tyre although i've not heard of anybody using them on a Supra. Had some on my Mondeo and the only observation i have is that they are quite soft.

Was going to go Uniroyal also as i heard they were best for wet weather which is where i most worry about the Supra. But im going probably Yokohama AVS Sport or Toyo TS-1's when my tyres need changing

Uni's were a bit pony on my 150 bhp MR2 ..

On my Tubbiy I've used :

Goodyear F1's

'stones so3's

Toyo's ..

Sticking with the toyo's for now .. soft, but I'd rather have grip than a hedge.

i've just gone for some firestone SZ80's... not very well known in this country but i've had some of the predecessors (SZ40) before and they were superb...

It was a toss up between them and the KumhoEcsta 712's.. which are also a very good tyre for a great price..

anyone any opinions on either?

I have Yokohama AVS sport on my alloys and the difference is huge.

Quite expensive, but theyare the only thing keeping you on the road and your not driving an Escort!!

well worth the money

IMO the best suited tyre to the Supra, but obviously not the cheapest.

Sure you will be happy with them
