Help With Adobe Premier

Hi,

I have just got Adobe Premier 6.0, however, it doesn't seem to be recognising my camera.

My camera is a Panasonic NV-GS11EB digital video recorder.

When I go to File > Capture > Movie Capture a dialogue box comes up that says my device cannot be controlled?

I've had a look in the manual (for Adobe AND the camera) but can't find anything.

Anyone able to help?

Thanks,

John.

Im not an expert in this area? did you install the camera drivers on to the PC?

I thought DV cables plug into the firewire port

(maybe your USB isnt plug and playing properly, just reboot)

your motherboard might have expansion pins for it(you will need to see the manual)

you can get External FireWire Hubs

Right, I've got the firewire card, bodged it into my PC, everything orking fine.

Now, how do you fade music out on Adobe Premier? So that it doesn't stop suddenly? I'm trying to put a few clips together of my mates skydiving team and it's good, apart from the abrupt ending.

Anyone?

Thanks.

Best thing to do is consult 'help' or find an online tutorial... those are the best things... whenever I fiddle with Premiere... I generally Fiddle...mess around with it until I get it right...

Im more of a Photoshop person than a Premiere person... but I am learning too...

Tinternet = the place to go ;)

Dr Divx can compress the file without loosing too much quality (but does not do WMV)
