Just thinking about this a little deeper - what you did is equivalent to me taking off my rear number plate and doing 140mph down the M4..

And if i did that, the chances are I would end up in prison..

only if it was your car though and you were insured and taxed, Fidgets.

If the car was stolen, no tax and insurance doing 140 with no plates then i think the punishment is a £50 fine and 20 hrs community service ( attendance optional )

wouldn't those penalties apply if you had held you rlicense for a certain period of time, plus double the speed limit should be an automatic ban.

If you get off with 5pts and £300 fine I'll be both suprised and seriously p@$$ed off. I got that for being 30mph over the limit and considered myself lucky.

i should take a photo copy of your licence, put it on the celing above your bed so you can sit there at night & think...... " that used to be mine....."

at least it wasnt as bad as under taking a marked traffic car at 104 mph........

no, its looking more like 5 penalty points and 200-300 quid fine.

3 for speeding and 2 for R Plates. 6 I loose my license
