Anyone on here a member?

A mate has just been invited to join and he was telling me its gonna cost him like £100 a year to be in on it.

Dunno if i'll get invited... :(

Anyone on here a member? Do you use the secret handshake?

lots of my dads mates are members, you pay a %age of your salary, very common in the police and insurance.

Had it described as an unofficial helping hand in your career ladder and if you should die for what ever reason they'll pay to keep your kids at public school etc that type of thing.

You can invite your friend's but anyone can apply to be mason, just turn up at your local lodge and have a chat and a few beer's to find out more but dress smart btw for the first time, then after it's a black tie affair

Basically a night at a lodge consist's off a few tipple's, a very nice meal, then a meeting about forthcoming event's & a few other stuff  , then it's back to the bar

You don't have to be loaded to join (admittedly some are) but whatever you can afford to charitable project's is more than welcome after your yearly lodge fee's (meal's must be paid on the night btw) ;)
