Starlet Np80 Steering

Hi, I've been given a rough NP80 Starlet. It's the diesel version of the EP80 one ( it's LHD). It'll soon need a new rack (tracking is always out and right hand bends are becoming interesting...). Does the model share a rack with other Toyota models? Can I use a RHD rack in a LHD car? I drew a blank when I tried the breakers here in France. Can I rebuild the rack myself using hand tools and basic mech knowledge or is some heavy equipment needed? I can find replacement bits but not the complete rack... Cheers,
