Hi, Can any one tell me the difference in body shape of the 2002 MK3 RAV4 to the MK4 model? Particuarly the rear of the car I.E. roof shape, I've looked at pictures but can't see much of a difference? The reason is i can get a Mk3 Rear spoiler Like the TTE but cheaper, but as yet not one for the MK4.

I think it should be okay - the changes seem to be to the plastics rather than the sheet metal. The roar of the roof and the top of the rear door are the same as far as I can see.

I'm sure a real, bona-fide expert will probably be along in an min!

Hope that helps,

Alan

The external differences at the back was the rear lights cluster design changed and they revised the shape of the hard spare tyre cover so the spoiler will fit all 2001-2005 RAV4's. The biggest external change from the 2001-2003 to 2004-2005 RAV4's was at the front with a new front bumper, front grill, front headlamps, Clear side indicators and they made the mirrors slightly bigger as well so 95% or more accessories fit all 2001-2005 RAV4's.
