hi,

has anyone of you lowered your car with the TTE-springs? How are they/ does it look good?

perhaps someone has a picture with TTE-springs and 195/45/15R Tyres??

My garage has pics with the car on eibach's. TTE's are rebranded eibach's. Lower the car 30mm. I think it looks good (how the car should have come and standard!). But I don't think it looks rude. If your after the modified look go lower. Or even better get coilovers! :D

how much does it cost for a garage to lower ur car? i know i depends where you are just want a rough idea, is handling improved?, i can get hold of 40mm ones but dont want it too low so it scrapes, i ahve standard 15 alloys on.

Probably around 2 hrs labour so about £100 max. ;)

Should cost around £60 I reckon, I got my Wagon Suspension fitted for £80 and thats shocks and springs! :thumbsup:

i paid 60 for some second hand gmax springs (-40mm) and 40 quid for friend of mine to fit them, so £100 in total. i have 15" standard t-sport rims, no scrubbing and looks and handles great!!

Do you have to go over bumps at 2mph though, im thinking 40mm is too low, with my standard alloys.

nahhhhh

i used to fly over bumps, then i got the konis and it scrapes all the time and thats with 60mm lowering :huh::lol:

youll be fine with 40mm springs
