Estima Air Con

Hell all. New here but already been around. Didn't find what I started out looking for though so posting this. Found loads of other good stuff though.

Anyway. I have an imported Toyota Estima whose air con has just died. I am told I need a new clutch set up and a new compressor for the same and have been quoted over £800.00 for the two parts.

Okay. So my ticker has now slowed to just ten thumps a second and I have managed to get the good lay wife down from the ceiling and I am now seeking words of wisdom from you guys. Failing that I will buy a large hat, tune up my guitar and hit the streets and you reall7y don't want that down your street I can assure you.

So, any ideas as to where I might get the parts cheaper? All help with this will be much appreciated by me, the dear lady, the three kids and two dogs.

get the compressor off and take it to the salvage yard. most are the same.
