I'm gonna try and replace my gear gaiter, came with the car full of !Removed! burns, got a nice new leather 1 to go on. just had a look how to take it off and im stuck. do i need to take the whole center dash and arm rest out or are there a few bolts too finish the job. thanks

If it's the same as my ST, the plastic gearstick surround should just pop off. Best point of attack it at the cigarette lighter end.
