Oil Leak In 1988 Camry

We have a 1988 Toyota Camry that we really love, but it has developed an annoying oil leak. The garage replaced it once and it started to leak again. They did the replacement a second time and the same thing happened. I believe that it is a seal around the oil pump. When they had the wheel passenger side wheel off the second time, they showed me the leak and it appeared to be a silicone gasket of some kind that the oil was leaking around. They have now told us that the problem is happening because of high oil pressure. Does this sound right? Or did they much up the job. What would cause this high pressure, if they did not muck it up. It has been suggested that a stuck PCV valve would be responsible. Where would this be located on this car.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Chris
