Remote Key Lock.. Help

greetings,

i need advise on what to be done..

had problem with my rav-4 door lock..

remote doesnt work... even w/ a new Battery. :(

.. even if i do it manually.. my key wouldnt turn when i do it..

have no problem with my key in the ignition though...

my 4x4 is equipped with a toyota security system...

pls.. help..

Sounds like a remote programming problem.

..that's what i thought so...

the key remote has a visible dial in it.. guess its the setting of its frequency to the transponder..

..somebody might have played & turn it (kids probably).. now it doesnt work..

It might be an idea to see if your local Toyota Centre can advise...............advice should cost nothing..........they will give you a quote for any rectification.
