Help With Installing Cd Player

I have a 95 Toyot"a Camry with the factory installed tape/radio player .I bought an "add on Toyota CD player (It has an especial round connector that exactly fits to the back of the tape player) from friend of mine. The CD player powers up, plays, rewind...but no AUDIO. Even I loose audio on my Radio and Tape player while the CD player is connected to the back of the tape. It appears this add on cd player is not compatible with the 95 Camry. (Although they both have the correct connector).

Is there anything I can do to make this working?
