Updates To My T-sport

Ok Finally got round to fitting my lowering springs last night. Here's some pics.

Glad to report no rubbing or anything or weird noises.

Also in the pics are my new clear clusters.

Next Up is smoking those, and getting a LHD reverse light, which in theory will replace my red fog...yes? On that note, any ideas where I can get one.

Also, as you can see in my clusters, on the left side, there is a red plastic bit for a fog light, but I don't need that, obviously, anyway of dis-assembling the cluster to remove that?

Wheel off, and bolts holding on mounts etc removed

Shock absorber removed

Looks much better mate!

Envy should be able to supply you with the clear lense to replace your foglight. Failing that try yaristpot on the site.

Lookin' good!

I'm not too keen on black alloys on a black car myself, just looks too "black" for my liking, but as long as you're happy mate then thats all that matters!

have you lowered it on 17s or 16s

17x7's with 205x40's

Thats probably the most tasteful Yaris on the forum IMO

I'd like to take that as a compliment B)

Same here but I think the lighter rim around the edges makes all the difference, I think it looks brilliant

The 17's Stuff the arches!!!!

Looks ace

With regards to the 2nd reverse light, I just ran some wire under the boot floor for it with an inline fuse (just incase) and had no problems.

When i tried the same for the Fogs it kept blowing fuses but you have the Bumper recessed fogs so no problem anyway.

What springs are you using???

Hows the handling feel through the twisties???

Lookin good though

Paul

PI Lowering Springs. dropped it 35mm. Cost me £116.

Just to clarify, there is absolutely no rubbing, full lock is achieved with no rubbing, but I haven't tried passengers yet :D

If you took the bump strips off your car it would finish it off. I had them on mine and they just pulled straight off, there only held on with sticky back foam.

I have been looking at doing this, but my dad seems to think the paintwork underneath will look messy and won't be shiny and whatnot.

The Clusters are from www.dcp-shop.co.uk
