Anyone seen it yet??

IMHO Leave your brain at the door, sit back and enjoy. Ignore the appauling acting in the first scene and it's fun all the way!

What's the general opinion??

Yeah I've just been to see it, it was ace, didn't see any Yaris's in it tho ;)

Did everyone drive like they were in the film afterwards, I think there were about 8 people driving like loons on the way out, I even had a lotus elsie want to race me home!! B)

yeah saw it this afternoon...

not as good as the first one, but good non the less.

was anoyed when the skyline never showed up after he was busted. that would have beaten any of the cars easily, he wouldnt have needed to play chicken, racing for slips later in the film.

yeah, must admit i was driving like the film, waited till i passed a group of boy racers, so i reved to bout 5k, and wheelspan out the carpark.

then on the a21, was hitting 160/180kph weaving in & out of traffic.

Nope, just watched F&F again and it's definately better I think. As an alround film taking into account the soundtrack and so on...except the ending of course, seriously WHY did they add that bit in?? It ruined the whole film, in fact I nearly cried lol And of course no Vin this time round :(

There were some people driving like proper ******s for sure...Don't mind if they know what they're doing but it's the 17 year old in fiestas with no brakes that scare me....although I suppose I'm just jealous coz I couldn't take my beast :crybaby:

So lots of people heading to the show then???

I've just seen it too, out of the car park i had a one to one with a Cossie Escort. Ripped him a new a-hole.

Funny how films can influence you.

Wouldnt drive backwards down the freeway while giving the bird though.

Influence indeed!!! I DUSTED a poor Impreza owner as i left the car park on Friday night!! I thought the film was pretty good, but not as good as the first one- but i guess they never are.

Had to bite the bullet and go see the most overated film ever yesterday. B)

Have to say I was mighty dissapointed. There I was, nachos in hand  , trying to check out that sexy, sexy Supra  and some cute women with killer bods kept getting in the way. SORT IT OUT PLEASE. Get out of the damn way of the fine cars. You look good but I didn't buy a ticket to see you stupid extras prancing around in figure hugging lycra.

Anyway, the road sequences at the start looked like someting outa Star Trek - warp speed..................

And the bridge jump. You cannot be serious - haven't seen anything so daft since Speed.

I remember meeting Tyrese a few years back when he was still just a R&B smoothie singer. Not sure he's made such a great transformation to actor........ :help:

Anyhow, crap story, dopey acting, SOME Cool Cars, fantastic Nachos and oh, Eva Mendes...........hmmmmm, Eva..........

Overall: 4/10. Woulda been less except for the Supra and Eva  Mendes.....

And no, I didn't charge out of the car park like a bat outa hell..... TOO MANY SPEED HUMPS.

I have to say I thought it was really bad, not even the cars can save this one :( , I hope John Singleton wanted to retire after this film as I don't think he'll have much choice .

It needed to go back to its roots & it didn't! Where was the street racing coz marking out a little road circuit on an industrial estate ain't street racing! It reminded me of the Pod race in Star Wars!!

Seemed to me it lacked everything which made the first one so good, Paul Walker seems to have had a further personality bypass also!

What a disappointment!

Overall: 3/10

:bye:

Just a thought - but when the open top pink car driven by SUKI hit the ground after the bridge jump, I think in reality the car would have been almost destroyed (given the speed, impact and angle) and she certainly would not have got out in one piece.

Any stuntmen around to verify my thoughts......

awww, come on guys! At what point did was it advertised as a street racing documentary?? It's menna be an all out action film with sexy cars and totty, entertaining etc etc. Next you're gonna tell me that you come out of Bond films slating how unrealistic the stunts are, or the matrix- doesn't stop them being great films.

Judging with thise criteria I'd say it was a 7 or 8/10- not as good as the first, but then I'm bias as there was no Mr Diesel but I thought that Paul Walkers acting was much improved in this one... definately gets my  seen it twice already!

Hi everyone

Saw the film on saturday thought that the film was really good. Liked the beginning when he was given 4 minutes to get to the race. :o

Hey just think if they started using those stinger over here. The police would just shot your car and the probe would just short out the cars electrics. :censor:

Lets hope not ah

 know what you mean jerry, those police electric devices scared the life out of me :(

Nice start to the film but afterwards felt meself bobbing off,

If i had the money and the mitsi,i could have done a lot better styling and engine mods wise than that yellow offering that paul drove, infact i was laughing when i saw it.

Actually I do have to agree with the gear change thing, lol. I know it sounded cool etc but you're right, pointless gear changes all the way through!
