Granvia Key Replacement

Hi,

I'm a new Granvia owner, and need to get an additional key cut. Local Toyota dealer quoting £130 for replacement remote key, and £40 for simple one that is cut.

Does anyone know how to get it cheaper, I went to local hardware store with good selection of blanks, but they weren't sure which one to use.

I always use www.cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk for my parts, and price is always cheaper then the dealership or you could try eBay..but the likelyhood of finding a blank key on eBay is pretty rare.

There's a very helpful locksmiths on Westhill in Wandsworth SW London where I've just got duplicates for my Granvia cut. It took him a couple of attempts (bring the vehicle with you!) but he finally figured out the right blanks, and they work fine, only £3.75 each. If you're not anywhere near there, any locksmith should be able to do it - the blanks you need to tell them to use are Silca TOY43.
