Actually classsed as 'First generation' Celica which consisted of TA22, TA23 (Notchback version) and RA28 (The fast back version of 1976-'78 there was another earlier 'RA' version of fast back which we never got).

The 70's fastback version (RA 2- model code) was actualy based on the late 60's Ford Mustang fastback ...Toyota now officially admit that a late 60's Mustang was shipped to Japan and the rear end panels scaled down in all dimensions.
