did you check for any error code on the ecu btw? maybe thatll give some clue? he can do that cant he? (i mean his car does have a checkable ecu doesnt it?)

well, drove her to work today.

Started ok, but would not go above 0.5 bar without missfire till she was warmned up for a good 15 mins.

MUST be my leads and dizzy etc, ignition components breaking down in the damp.

Need to get some ordered asap.

I recon i ve got an ecu i can check, the Greddy one is just a piggy back, so i still have the factory one !

Thanks for your support, I was a bit worried a couple of days ago that this was gonna be silly expensive ! :thumbsup:

truly glad it wasnt major expensive for you :thumbsup: was there recently .... bit like the outer reaches of scotland :unsure: (no inherent offence meant but they did refer to me as an english :censor: so....i was a bit unwelcome :bye: )

I'd check the plugs first, one or more may have burnt off the electrodes, especially if he put 95 RON in it.
