received this through the post yesterday from my gf, nice surprise...

didnt know this sort of stuff existed

sits proudly on my desk next to my mechanic hand...feels more homely when you put some personal stuff on your desk, especially gadgets

anyone else keep gadgets on their desks at work?

My desk is far too cluttered with :censor: to have any room for any gadgets that aren't my monitor, printer, or mobile. Nice clock though

haven't you got a machine shop at your disposal??

Make one ! they're not complicated at all. Mines a homemade one using 2 AOL CDs as a flywheel .

this one is similar to the one I have running.

I like the low temp ones as they only need a few degrees temperature difference to run. If made right you can even power them from the heat of your hand !

We get those clocks sent in by our tyre wholesalers.. look ok i suppose, but its the only wheel i know of where the dust cap is bigger than the wheel nuts

Our clock came from Kumho.. and has a 245 40x18 tyre on it (scaled down though)
