Heres one for you all.. chocolate.......

Just follow these simple instructions..

1 - First of all, pick the number of times a week you would like to eat chocolate. (more than once but less than 10).

2 - Now multiply this number by 2, as you were probably lying the first time.

3 - Then add another 5, just incase you are a realy big liar. :P

4 - Now multiply this number by 50. :bookworm:

5 - If you have allready had your birthday this year add 1755, and if you haven't.. add 1754. :bookworm:

6 - Now subract the 4 digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number.

The first digit of this number was your original number (how many times you want to eat chocolate a week)

The last 2 numbers should be your age.

No.. i don't know how it works, i i don't want to know.

its a simple maths trick... do it will 11, it falls apart ;)

Here's a clue - next year the numbers in step 5 will change to 1756 and 1755.

It doesn't matter what number you start with, by the end of step 4 you will end up with a number ending in 50. Hence, when you add 1755 or 1754 you will get a number that ends in 05 or 04. Take away your year of birth and you will always get your age.

Ahh yes - it all becomes clear. So next year, by step 5 you'll have a number ending in 06 or 05.

As a copy and paste.

mathematically, (where x=the "tens" part of the number and y=the "ones")

10x + y - (x+y)

simple algebra then says that is equal to 9x , as you can re-write that equation as (10x - x) + y - y

or 9x

so - whatever numbers you pick - the answer will always be a multiple of 9.

therefore - the flash puzzle only ever shows the symbol for a multiple of nine.

Check the chart - how many different symbols are there for the multiples of 9?
