Insurance Problem

Im having some problems with a insurance company

I changed my insurance company 2 months ago as the company previous tried to double my renewal from £310 FC to £540 FC with 7 years NCB so i took my insurance to a new company who did it for £290 FC with my 7 years NCB.

I received a letter yesterday from my insurers saying i have to produce my proof of NCB or pay an extra £390.

I have called my old insurers several times and get told they will send the proof and each time they never came i have wrote to them 4 times 2 of them times sent it recored delivery and still not documents have come.

Can anyone advise me on what my next step should be as im running out of ideas fast.

find the name of the insurance ombudsman, call them again asking to speak to a manager, if your not happy with them speak to their manager, state what you have done to try and obtain the NCD cert and state that all you need is the cert and dont want to take this through the ombudsman....
