Blingness is always a good thing :).

i.e. the red bar?

Also, I can see the point in the carbon fibre bits, but you've added another bit near the front?

most the carbon bits are just covers, the red bar is a strut brace to increase rigidity and imporve handling

Right finally got around to doing this:

Bought the car in 2002 was an x-demonstrator and arrived with 7k on the clock.

- the standard car is a capable little hatchback - took us camping in the lakes many a time.

And kept it mostly standard (only rear Speakers etc) until the warranty ran out in 2005

First mod came from Alan Bradley - a strutbrace, then the exhaust backbox and induction system ... then wheels ....

... but the real mods started with a trip to Envy on the 3rd of Jan 2005 ...

front discs, pads

rear pads

lowering springs

full service

new bumper with lip spoiler

(this was done in 3hours flat!)

and a couple of weeks later a carbon bonnet ...

The remainder of 2005 was focused around under the hood mods:

Carbon engine cover

Catch Can and Breather Filter

Grounding Condensor

Blue Rad Hoses and Vacuum Hoses

Oil and Rad Caps

Relcated Apexi Induction

Sports Header

Sports Cat and mid section

Rear Discs and Pads

Some HiFi Mods ...

Was chuffed to bits to win the 'best under the hood' competition at JAE 2005 - a real proud moment!

So for 2006?

Well the Yaris retires from day to day life (now at 106 thousand miles) and becomes a weekend car. Ive sourced a lower mileage engine to go in as soon as the weather settles down then its into wish list territory:

Greddy Turbo

Coilovers

Custom Respray

etc etc etc

Windemere

Yep - first off will be the low mileage engine then coilovers.

Then turbo and finally respray, Id like a private plate but thats well down the list. All of that lots gonna need to be spaced out while I pay for my other project - the wifes new car. Ive started on it already but have a few 'extras' planned.

And of course Im not even going to pretend that I dont have a few plans for my day to day ride!
