After my much slated momentary lapse in style i have scrapped the "i cant even mention them" alloys and am going to buy a set of these tomorrow (18's!!!) to fit to my Gen 7 Celica

Let me know if it was actually NOT a lack of style and do i just have rubbish style?!!!

Well it just isnt my week!!!

I bought them from a wheel shop on eBay, new, only to have my money refunded as they dont have them in stock and cant get any more.

There was still 1 day to go and it said they had 2 sets in so i am baffled as to why they were even listing them if they didnt have them!!

you think thats bad luck. The first THREE sets of wheels that i went to buy were all discontinued!! And the places i tried to order them from still advertise them on their websites!! :ffs:

But were you??? I did actually like them a lot, but i am not a street racer and dont think my work would appreciate me turning up on a site in an on road race car!!

I thought those ones were nice (18" of joy) but also not too flashy/chav/boy racer ish.

And it was Martin Longbow's post of his Gen6 that did it for me, they pretty much look like the same alloys and they look sweet on his car!

Dont want to show off but still want them to look nice :)

All i need now is the Blitz Supercharger and i'm happy!

look good mate  I nearly brought a set of them for my GT a couple of years back. Only reason i didnt buy them was because they were out of stock of my fitment.

Only thing is i would have gone for 215/35/18

Pics when they are on please ;)

why would you have gone for 215/35r18 's ?

I thought the 225 would give better handling?

Also do i need my speedo etc re adjusted as they are effectively 30mm bigger in diameter?

215 i wide enough on that car imo. 35 tyre wall is smaller and makes 18s look awesome. Many people would have gone for the size you chose tho :)
