hi got a GT FWD

put it on road after 1yr, its idling 2 high

2000 cold start

1500 warmed up parked at traffic lights

had krypton tuning done, he set idle at 1000 cos of BMC induction kit and baffless stainless exhaust

now revs between 13-1500

occasionaly drops to 1000

cnt lower idle any more cos may stall wen it occasionaly drops.

friends say timing 2 advance or maybe sensor?

any ideas cos im stuk??????

u sure it's fully warmed up? mine used to idle at about 2500rpm for the 1st 5 mins, then it would eventually settle at around 1000rpm. there's a screw on the throttle body that can adjust idle speed, but if the ecu thinks it's gonna stall, it'll over ride it

yeh between 2000 and 2500 for roughly 5mins, but after tht wen i strt driving sticks to 13-1500, il try lower idle but hope it wnt stall. If i turn lights on or turn fan on it lowers th revs????

that's normal, mine used to drop by about 100rpm if they were on. it also used to rise slightly if i put my foot on the brake (i presume it was the servo working?)
